Anita Barone

Barone appeared as a character in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld that aired in the season four. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a chef that wants Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was part of the group of Carol & Company in early 1990s, alongside actor Carol Burnett. Barone also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife on the character's first appearance in Friends. The show ended her time as she was looking for an additional full-time job. She was to be replaced with Jane Sibbett. Barone was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the first year (1995-1996) and The War at Home in 2005 through 2007. Barone was co-starring alongside Daddio in 2000. Barone also has credits in television shows, such as Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone won her 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her work in The feature film One Last Ride. The following year, three years after The War at Home ended it's running time, Barone began her recurring role as a character on Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up in the role of Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave guest starred as J.J. Jones in two episodes.
